Artists will be selected by jury for solo or group exhibitions in the two public galleries of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder on Saturday, July 29, 2017. The deadline for registration is July 24, 2017 at 5pm. There is no fee. Registration may be limited, if necessary. This round of judging will select artists for exhibits September 2017-August 2018, at NCAR’s Mesa Laboratory. Artists are requested to submit three representative pieces of their work and may provide a statement of 100 words or less (optional). Gallery space limits NCAR exhibits to wall-hanging artwork. After registration is received you will receive an information letter explaining details about the jury show process.
The NCAR Mesa Laboratory is located at 1850 Table Mesa Drive in Boulder. Its galleries and Visitor Center are open to the public on weekdays from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and on weekends and holidays from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

The Louisville National Fine Art and Photography Show is held in the Louisville Center for the Arts building, an old victorian, completely renovated, turn of the century (circa 1904), red brick schoolhouse. This historic venue offers participating artists the opportunity to compete, and display and sell artwork in an elegant gallery setting, which retains a touch of historic ambience. The fine art and photography exhibit will be on display for 9 days. It starts with the preshow viewing on Friday, Sept. 1 and goes through two weekends. It is closed on Tuesday of the week. Judge and juror Jane Jones will present cash awards plus prizes and ribbons. We invite you to enter what is sure to be our most successful show yet!
Historic Downtown Louisville offers an array of art galleries, related shops, businesses, restaurants and cafes. The show is held in conjunction with the 3-day Louisville Labor Day weekend event.
It’s that time again to feature fabulous photographs of our prized Boulder County Parks & Open Space lands.
We are excited to announce our 3rd juried photography exhibit featuring our public land. If you are photographer or if you know someone who is, please visit our parks and capture images to submit for consideration. Photography sessions led by Ranger Fowler will be held throughout the summer.
This year, we will be featuring 4 photographers including Robert Castellano, Craig Rademacher, David Silver and Verdon Tomajko.
Anyone may submit up to 5 photographs for a $30 entry fee. Cash prizes will be given to exhibitors with any profits being contributed to the Boulder County Parks and Open Space Foundation (www.PreserveBoulderCounty.org )

The ARTISTS-CRAFTERS-FOODIES FAIR is coming to Brighton, CO and Exhibitors are wanted.
I’m a local small business owner seeking to get this information to your artists that like to sell at fairs.
This one-day indoor event is being held on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 9am-4pm at the Adams County Regional Park Main Exhibit Hall (9755 Henderson Road, Brighton, CO). Huge hall with lots of parking.
There will be over 200 booths at this well advertised event. It’s a handcrafted items only fair, no commercial items.

One of the SVHS’ flagship and longest running fundraisers is the Strawberry Festival Antique show held every May–directly after the weekend of Mother’s Day.
The name Strawberry Festival was given to commemorate the Strawberry Festival of 1871—marking the dedication of the newly erected Library Hall by philanthropist Elizabeth Thompson.
Diane Wood is looking for artists interested in exhibiting, at no charge and no commission on sales taken. There is space for up to12 artists. Each artist must sit the show for a 2-hour time slot. Set up will be Friday, May 19 around 1:30 pm.

Arts Longmont and the Downtown Longmont Creative District are now accepting proposals for the Outdoor Gallery in the 300 East Breezeway. The final phase of the Outdoor Gallery is the large frames and they need art!
The metal frames are 6’ x 9’ with an open front and lock.
Arts Longmont will provide the wood panel for your art to be created on. The art must be sealed to protect it from the elements.
Artists will receive a $200 stipend.
All art will be for sale. If art sells, Arts Longmont will retain a 30% commission to fund future art in the breezeway.
The art will be exhibited for one year. If the art doesn’t sell it will be returned to the artist.

Our Annual June Member Art Show and Sale at the Boulder County Fairgrounds is fast approaching! This year’s show will be from Thursday June, 8th through Sunday June 11th. We have some wonderful Judges participating this year, and we need you to help us make it the best yet!
All members who enter the art show are required to volunteer 2 hours to help out. We have several different areas to choose from, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
