Longmont Figure Drawing MeetUp

Friday, April 5, 2019

6-9pm
540 Delaware Pl., Longmont
(just east of Boulder County Fairgrounds)

$20 per session for Longmont Artist Guild & TM members
$25 non-members
Presented by: Remington Bernot

To register: http://meetu.ps/e/GyqCp/w7zyf/a

My name is Remington, and I’m happy to announce what will hopefully be many figure drawing sessions at Tinkermill.

No critique or judgment,,, so don’t be shy.

This Meet-up will primarily be a drawing group, with some small exercises in the beginning 20 minutes. The exercise will be to help you let go of control, loosen up and not necessarily to draw a good "picture" at first. After that the model and I will simply collaborate on length and style of poses.

Please bring your own paper and drawing/painting tools. I will take some time in the beginning to direct easels to an appropriate place. I’ll have one double station easel provided for two painters, which is first come first serve. If you bring a drawing board however, I will have a large roll of paper you can use.

I’ll offer an option to receive more instruction and direction at the end of class by providing a sign-up sheet for an alternative style drawing session.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Open WallFriday March 29 – 4:30-8:00pm
